First Point Group is working with a Leading Bank based in the UAE and is supporting them in their search for a Test Engineer to be based in their Dubai office.
Key Responsibilities:
> Test Strategy: Developed and implemented comprehensive automation test strategies for web and mobile applications, ensuring optimal quality and coverage.
> Test Automation: Created and executed automated test scripts using Selenium, Appium, Playwright, and Cypress, significantly improving testing efficiency and accuracy.
> Device Testing: Conducted device cloud and real device testing to ensure compatibility across various platforms and devices, enhancing user experience.
> Cross-Functional Collaboration: Successfully collaborated with development, product management, and design teams to align testing efforts with business goals and deliver high-quality products.
> Team Leadership: Led and mentored a team of test engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation, and driving team performance to achieve project objectives.
> Metrics and Reporting: Built and maintained QA dashboards to provide actionable insights into testing progress, identify areas for improvement, and inform decision-making.
> Process Improvement: Actively participated in developing and implementing new testing processes and methodologies, streamlining workflows and enhancing overall quality.
> Project Management: Defined automation test strategies, provided accurate estimates and schedules, and ensured the timely delivery of high-quality digital applications.
Key Requirements:
> 5+ years of experience as a Test Engineer for web and mobile applications
> Hands-on experience with automation testing tools (Selenium, Appium, Playwright, Cypress) and device cloud/real device testing
> Experience working with Test CoE partners for project planning and scheduling
> Ability to build QA dashboards and provide insightful metrics
> Strong leadership skills for leading and mentoring a team
> Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration
> Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
> Multilingual proficiency in English and at least one other language (Arabic, Chinese, French)
