Key Responsibilities
- Leading design projects, including defining scope, managing budgets, and schedules, ensuring quality, and addressing risks.
- You will be the go-to expert for mechanical engineering within the team. This position offers the chance to shape technical standards and best practices across the company.
- Taking ownership or contributing to large-scale procurement activities such as drafting technical specifications, tender analysis, and negotiating contracts.
- Supporting projects throughout various stages, from design to implementation and maintenance, while providing technical expertise and oversight.
- Collaborating closely with clients to identify their core needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Lead the development and implementation of HVAC, LEV, and LTHW systems, as well as non-critical cooling and heating solutions.
- Manage public health systems (water, sewage, drainage), fuel systems, leak detection, trace heating, and fire protection systems.
- Pioneering new ways to improve project delivery and operational processes, always looking for innovation and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
- 7+ years of experience in mechanical system design, upgrades, installations, and replacements.
- 5 years of experience in Mechanical design in data centres and Critical Infrastructure
- Knowledge and experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) and control systems.
- Strong track record of leading or significantly contributing to the full lifecycle of projects, from initiation to completion.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical details to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with regional building regulations, codes, and industry standards.
