We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Support Engineer to join our client. In this role, you will tackle complex technical challenges, provide top-tier customer support, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams. What You’ll Do:
- Install, integrate, and configure system solutions.
- Develop processes and procedures for customized system applications.
- Create and execute testing plans to ensure performance aligns with customer requirements.
- Analyze system operations, identify inconsistencies, and propose effective solutions.
- Document feature requests for product enhancements or customizations.
- Troubleshoot and debug technical issues, working closely with QA and R&D teams to resolve bugs.
- Provide tailored customer training and optimizations.
- Manage and resolve advanced support tickets (T3+ level).
What You Bring:
- 2+ years of experience in a technical support role with strong analytical and customer engagement skills.
- 3+ years of experience in the telecommunications industry (preferred).
- Solid understanding of operating systems (Linux, Windows).
- Familiarity with protocols: GSM (MAP Signaling), CAMEL, ISUP, Sigtran, SIP, SS7. (Diameter protocols like Gx/Gy are a plus.)
- Basic experience with Linux shell scripting and Oracle databases.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or Computer Science (preferred).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Spanish proficiency is a plus).
- Ability to multitask effectively and work collaboratively within a team.
- Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
