Role Overview:



As a Sales Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in managing and developing business relationships with both large and small accounts. Your primary focus will be on fostering strategic partnerships that generate revenue across multiple financial years within the Software Engineering portfolio.



 



Key Responsibilities:




  • Business Acquisition: Drive new business development while nurturing existing accounts to identify expansion opportunities.

  • Account Management: Develop a deep understanding of customer needs, priorities, and decision-making processes, serving as the key point of contact for your portfolio.

  • Revenue Generation: Consistently deliver on software engineering quotas, demonstrating strong performance in achieving and exceeding sales targets.

  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with internal teams to maximize account penetration and grow the company’s footprint within defined accounts.

  • Customer Engagement: Enhance customer loyalty by increasing engagement and showcasing successful implementations.

  • Market Awareness: Stay updated on software engineering technologies, industry trends, and business news to remain relevant to your accounts.



 



Qualifications & Experience:




  • 8+ years of proven experience in solution sales within a consulting services environment.

  • Strong track record in new business development, account management, and commercial contracting.

  • Experience working with enterprise clients in a B2B setting, particularly at the C-suite level.

  • Exceptional negotiation skills and a commitment to achieving accurate sales forecasts.

  • Relevant technology experience with a focus on understanding customer needs and providing effective solutions.



 



Desired Skills:




  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and PowerPoint; familiarity with CRM systems is advantageous.

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to manage conflict and negotiate effectively.

  • A self-motivated and action-oriented individual who embraces continuous learning and self-development.
