Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive ShipNet Software Administrator to oversee the maintenance, configuration, and seamless operation of the ShipNet software within our organization. In this role, you will collaborate closely with both our IT and maritime operations teams, ensuring the software is optimally configured to meet business requirements and support operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain the ShipNet software environment, ensuring it operates effectively and is regularly updated.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for ShipNet-related issues, minimizing operational disruptions.
- Customize and configure ShipNet modules to meet specific business needs and workflows.
- Monitor system performance, analyze data, and recommend improvements for optimal operation.
- Conduct training sessions for end-users and offer ongoing support for ShipNet functionalities.
- Liaise with software vendors for technical support and timely updates.
- Safeguard data integrity and security within the ShipNet system.
- Document all processes, configurations, and administration procedures related to ShipNet.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in ShipNet software administration or similar maritime ERP systems.
- Strong understanding of maritime industry operations and workflows.
- Proficiency in SQL and database management specific to ShipNet.
- Familiarity with network and server management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
