Salary: R1.2 Million PA + 40% Earnable
Environment: Hybrid


We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Solution Sales Specialist: Retail to join a dynamic team. This role is pivotal in building robust relationships with key industry players and driving sales growth within the Retail sector. As a specialist, you will be responsible for developing sales of cutting-edge solutions to designated accounts, generating leads, and coordinating collaborative sales efforts across various functions to support overall business growth.


Key Responsibilities

Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key industry players, partners, suppliers, and prospective customers.
Customer Understanding: Assess and understand current and future customer needs to generate sales opportunities and present tailored solutions.
Market Engagement: Stay abreast of industry changes and actively participate in networking opportunities such as conferences and thought leadership forums.
Sales Strategy Execution: Lead and support collaborative sales efforts, drive qualified opportunities, and follow through to conversion.
Solution Development: Work closely with internal teams to develop new solutions and drive customer demand.
Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on new business development, track sales opportunities, and ensure customer satisfaction.


Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 7 years in Business Development and Solution Sales within the Financial/Retail environment.
Skills:
Strong customer-oriented approach and delivery focus.
Proven track record in leading and closing major deals.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and advanced Excel.
Strong analytical skills and financial acumen.
