My client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Solution Sales Specialist: Retail to join a dynamic team. This role is pivotal in building robust relationships with key industry players and driving sales growth within the Retail sector. As a specialist, you will be responsible for developing sales of cutting-edge solutions to designated accounts, generating leads, and coordinating collaborative sales efforts across various functions to support overall business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key industry players, partners, suppliers, and prospective customers.
- Customer Understanding: Assess and understand current and future customer needs to generate sales opportunities and present tailored solutions.
- Market Engagement: Stay abreast of industry changes and actively participate in networking opportunities such as conferences and thought leadership forums.
- Sales Strategy Execution: Lead and support collaborative sales efforts, drive qualified opportunities, and follow through to conversion.
- Solution Development: Work closely with internal teams to develop new solutions and drive customer demand.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on new business development, track sales opportunities, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years in Business Development and Solution Sales within the Financial/Retail environment.
Skills:
- Strong customer-oriented approach and delivery focus.
- Proven track record in leading and closing major deals.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and advanced Excel.
- Strong analytical skills and financial acumen.
