Budget: R800 000- R1 000 000 PA + 40 % earnable

Are you an experienced sales professional with a passion for Software Engineering solutions? We are seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Specialist to manage and grow our business relationships within the enterprise sector. This role focuses on building strategic partnerships, generating revenue, and ensuring customer satisfaction across our Software Engineering portfolio.

As a Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for acquiring new business and expanding existing accounts. You will develop and execute strategies to meet customer needs and drive long-term partnerships. Your role will involve engaging with key decision-makers, understanding their business priorities, and providing tailored solutions to achieve revenue targets.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Acquisition (New and Existing Accounts):
  • Manage a named list of enterprise accounts within a defined territory.
  • Develop new business opportunities and expand existing accounts.
  • Consistently deliver on Software Engineering ACV quotas.
  • Strategically plan account growth and market strategy.
  • Negotiate pricing and business terms with large commercial enterprises.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and partner services to position our solutions effectively.
  • Identify and address customer needs with appropriate solutions.
  • Focus on customer solution selling across all competencies and service lines.
  • Work closely with Marketing and Business Unit teams for value-based selling.
  • Demonstrate business value and align solutions with customer goals.


Sales Excellence (Internal Focus):

  • Work on solution pricing with pre-sales and Business Unit Leads.
  • Prepare and submit high-quality, professional proposals.
  • Ensure seamless transition from sales to delivery with consulting services teams.
  • Build a strong pipeline and provide accurate business forecasts.
  • Utilize sales methodologies and processes from prospecting to closure.
  • Capture customer intelligence in the CRM system.
  • Share success stories and case studies with customers and the broader team.
  • Represent the company positively and professionally.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Education: Grade 12 or relevant Diploma (advantageous).
  • Experience:
  • 8+ years in new business development and account management within a Consulting Services environment.
  • Proven experience in commercial contracting with customers.
  • Experience in enterprise selling in a B2B environment.
  • Strong background in managing and developing an account load across various sectors.
  • Comfortable working at the C-Suite level.
  • Demonstrated success in sales and accurate forecasting.
  • Relevant technology experience.
