Our client, based in Belgium, is seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee operations, renewals, and expansions across their state-of-the-art facilities in Antwerp, Brussels, and Ghent. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to play a key role in driving the company's growth and success.
Position Overview
As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing all necessary activities in datacenter operations, carrying out renewals and expansions, and ensuring compliance with legal standards. This crucial role focuses on delivering exceptional service and maximising customer satisfaction by effectively managing SLAs, costs, security, and projects to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
Responsibilities
Manage all necessary activities in datacenter operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning
Carry out renewals and expansions of datacenter facilities, overseeing the entire process
Ensure compliance with legal standards and regulations in all aspects of datacenter operations
Manage customer SLAs, focusing on meeting and exceeding service level agreements
Optimise cost effectiveness while maintaining high standards of service and infrastructure
Oversee security measures to protect customer data and maintain the integrity of the datacenters
Maximise customer satisfaction through proactive communication, issue resolution, and continuous improvement
Support the operations department in day-to-day activities and long-term planning
Coordinate facility activities, including maintenance, repairs, and upgrades
Ensure alignment with external regulations and industry best practices
Manage projects aimed at reducing downtime, improving efficiency, and enhancing overall performance
Requirements
Higher education in electromechanics or relevant experience with electrical installations and cooling techniques
Several years of experience in maintaining business-critical installations and managing projects
Strong knowledge of HVAC, electricity, power generators, UPS installations, data cabling, and access control
Fluency in Dutch and English
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Category B driving license
Analytical mindset and ability to work well under pressure
Hands-on mentality and willingness to take ownership of tasks and projects
