PPA Origination Manager – Europe

A leading renewable energy company is seeking an experienced PPA Origination Manager to drive growth within its power purchase agreement (PPA) portfolio. This role is pivotal in structuring and executing long-term renewable energy contracts, supporting the integration of clean energy solutions into the European market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, structure, and negotiate PPAs with corporate off-takers, utilities, and industrial consumers across Europe.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key market players, enhancing business opportunities.
- Lead deal origination and contract execution, ensuring alignment with internal approval processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including trading, risk, legal, and finance, to optimise deal structures.
- Monitor market trends and regulatory developments to identify new business opportunities.
- Drive the onboarding process for new counterparties, ensuring seamless integration.
- Contribute to strategic business planning and engagement with senior stakeholders.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in power purchase agreement (PPA) origination and deal execution.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to structure complex energy transactions.
- Established network within the renewable energy sector, particularly with corporate buyers and utilities.
- Deep understanding of European electricity markets and regulatory frameworks.
- Self-driven, results-oriented, and skilled in stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Fluency in English; additional European languages are advantageous.
