The Role
Join a leading provider of secure communication solutions in the UAE as an IT Security Specialist specializing in Identity and Access Management (IAM). In this critical position, you will oversee and enhance IAM infrastructure, ensuring high service levels and security compliance for government and enterprise solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage IAM infrastructure for clients 24/7, ensuring all service levels are met.
- Develop and implement processes and reporting metrics to improve operational efficiency and quality.
- Identify gaps in existing processes and propose optimal solutions for enhancement.
- Provide technical expertise to L1 and L2 teams, advising on escalated issues and mentoring engineers to enhance their technical skills.
- Conduct reviews of IAM architecture, product functionality, and customization to ensure system integrity.
- Analyze periodic performance reports, providing guidance on performance tuning and capacity planning.
- Recommend and coordinate incident response plans for effective remediation.
- Perform root cause analysis and trend reporting for critical incidents.
- Develop and implement use cases for IAM tasks associated with upgrades or integrations.
- Review security architectures, conduct gap analyses, and integrate security technologies as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 10+ years of IT experience, including at least 5 years in IAM and security.
- Strong understanding of IAM security tools (e.g., IBM Security Access Manager, IBM Security Identity Manager, Thales SAS applications).
- Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, XML, SAML, and SOAP.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and a solid understanding of TDI, WAS, and DB2 functionalities.
- Strong knowledge of Single Sign-On (SSO) and Federation concepts.
- CISSP or CISM certification is advantageous.
- Ability to work flexible hours and constructively under pressure while demonstrating excellent communication skills.
