ICT Coordinator

The ICT Coordinator will be responsible for providing comprehensive ICT support to the KSA office users and the fleet. This role involves offshore visits, maintaining ICT logistics, and managing spare parts. The ICT Coordinator will ensure the smooth operation of ICT systems and infrastructure, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the organization.



Key Responsibilities:

1.    User Support:

o    Provide technical support to KSA office users, addressing hardware, software, and network issues promptly.

o    Assist users with troubleshooting and resolving ICT-related problems.

2.    Fleet Support:

o    Offer ICT support to the fleet, ensuring all vessels have reliable and efficient communication and ICT systems.

o    Conduct regular checks and maintenance of ICT equipment on board the vessels.

3.    Offshore Visits:

o    Perform offshore visits to inspect, install, and maintain ICT systems on vessels.

o    Conduct preventive maintenance and provide support to ensure all ICT equipment on vessels is functioning correctly and meets the required standards.

4.    ICT Logistics and Spare Parts Management:

o    Maintain an inventory of ICT equipment and spare parts.

o    Coordinate the procurement, storage, and distribution of ICT equipment and spare parts.

o    Ensure timely availability of spare parts to minimize downtime.

5.    System Maintenance and Upgrades:

o    Monitor and maintain ICT systems, including servers, networks, and communication systems.

o    Implement system upgrades and updates as needed to ensure optimal performance and security.

6.    Documentation and Reporting:

o    Maintain accurate records of ICT equipment, maintenance activities, and support requests.

o    Prepare and submit regular reports on ICT activities and issues to the management.

7.    Compliance and Security:

o    Ensure compliance with organizational ICT policies and procedures.

o    Implement and enforce security measures to protect ICT systems and data.

8.    Training and Support:

o    Provide training and support to users on the effective use of ICT systems and tools.

o    Stay updated on the latest ICT trends and technologies to provide informed recommendations.



Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

•    Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

•    Proven experience in ICT support and administration.

•    Strong technical skills in hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.

•    Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

•    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

•    Willingness to travel and perform offshore visits as required.

•    Professional certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft) are a plus.

•    Experience in the maritime industry is an advantage.

•    Knowledge of ICT logistics and spare parts management.

•    Familiarity with ICT security protocols and best practices.

•    Strong organizational and time management skills.

•    Ability to train and support users effectively.

•    Proficiency in English is mandatory; Arabic is a plus.
