HSE Supervisor Onshore Wind-Germany 


My client is currently looking to recruit for an HSE Supervisor to support an onshore wind project in Bavaria.

  • ASAP start 
  • Initial contract of 2-3 months with a view to extend, 
  • Monday – Friday (office hours) 
  • Rates neg- all inclusive


Your responsibilities will include (but not limited):

  • Coordinating with different business departments to ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations and industry best practices.
  • Providing HSE guidance to project managers and project leads during the development and construction phases.
  • Creating and maintaining HSE documentation such as work procedures, training records, EPR, campaign materials, KPIs, reports, and presentations.
  • Contributing to contractor plans and documentation and ensuring their correct implementation on-site, with a focus on competence and compliance.
  • Performing independent inspections and emergency/rescue drills, as well as supporting the implementation of campaigns and training programs.
  • Offering technical HSE expertise and knowledge across all levels of the Onshore Germany organisation.


Candidates would need to:

  • Have a solid understanding of local HSE and construction regulations.
  • Hold a degree in health and safety or engineering, along with significant post-graduate experience in health and safety, preferably with strong knowledge of wind and solar industries, as well as construction and wind/solar farm operations.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic systems, and civil works, and be aware of the high risks associated with them.
  • Exhibit exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.
  • Have experience with conducting inspections, site walk-throughs, training sessions, interventions, and internal project audits.
  • Be knowledgeable about behavioural-based safety systems, HSE culture, and industry best practices.
  • Able to communicate (verbal and writing) in English and German 
  • Eligible to work, without restrictions in Germany
