Our client, a fast-growing data centre company who operate across multiple countries, are looking for a Head of Data Centre Facilities management.
They have experienced rapid growth in the last few years, both in terms of headcount, company valuation, revenue and locations they are operating.
You should be strong technically with MEP systems in a data centre environment and have experience managing the operations of this across multiple data centres in multiple countries.
Head of Data Centre Facilities Management

Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the data center’s critical physical infrastructure across APAC, ensuring maintain SLAs with customers.
- Help standardize data centre operations across multiple data centres in APAC.
- Plan and execute Power Usage Effectiveness to increase efficiency.
- Lead teams of engineers and technicians working 24/7.
- Oversee the operation and management of routine and emergency services for various critical systems, including switchgear, generators, UPS systems, power distribution equipment, chillers, cooling towers, computer room air handlers, and building monitoring systems.
- Drive improvement projects from conception to completion, often involving coordination with various internal and external support teams.
- Serve as an escalation point for data center facilities-related issues and failures, including responding to out-of-hours emergency calls.
- Manage overall site capacity.
- Handle incident management, including communication and coordination during complex customer-impacting incidents, driving root cause analysis, providing clear direction, and obtaining approval for incident resolution.
- Ensure adherence to all safety procedures during work.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or a related field.
Competency and Behavioral Skills:
- 10+ years managing critical facilities across multiple data centers.
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems
- Good leadership skills so can recruit and retain good teams.
- Ability to face C Level customers
