My client, a global data center operator is looking to hire a Head of Construction to manage all new and existing projects in Malaysia.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and architects to develop project designs, budgets, and timelines
- Regularly review contracts and budgets to check how builds are progressing against the expected timeline and costs
- Procure the required materials, tools, and anything else needed for projects
- Hire and manage project teams to ensure they’re working productively and efficiently, including managing contractor schedules
- Oversee construction sites to ensure they’re safe work environments with clear safety protocols
- Report regularly on build progress to clients and senior management, including timelines and budget updates
Job Requirements
- Deep knowledge of construction management methods, processes, and best practices
- Advanced experience in local and federal safety regulations, construction details, and building projects
- Excellent project and time management skills
- Strong leadership skills and experience
