Are you a Mobile Wireless Field Engineer with fault-finding / maintenance experience of Ericsson RBS/ Nokia Flexi/AirScale Radio 3G/4G/5G equipment? FPG is recruiting on behalf of our client for Field Engineers that are willing to get UK tower climbing certifications or already hold valid ‘Working at Height' certifications.

If you have previous Field Engineering (fault finding) experience and you have the funds to attain the PPE / climbing equipment and valid certifications required for the role after you receive a formal offer, we would also be interested in speaking to you.

Scope of work
- Carryout reactive and proactive maintenance on multi-customer, multi technology networks, achieving agreed performance targets
- Carryout project based on site installation, commissioning, integration, and maintenance/fault-finding activities across multi-customer, multi technology mobile wireless networks achieving agreed performance targets.
- Flexibility in approach to working hours will be required due to both spikes in workload and operational requirement to support reactive and planned work requests out of core shift hours.
- Deemed fit to work at height (WAH)
Responsibilities
- Work individually, as part of the field service team and wider organisational teams to achieve right first-time resolution of work within customer SLA's without compromising safe working practices
- Carry out the field related installation, commissioning and integration activities associated with agreed project work
- Assist in the development and review of processes and procedures with a view to maximise efficiency.
- Participate in a 24 x 7 callout rota covering all equipment in the Service Area
- Keep diligent records and accurately update both internal teams and Customer systems where necessary.
- Undertake personal development to maximize effectiveness
Experience
- Experience of installation, commissioning, integration and maintenance/fault-finding activity on the Ericsson RBS 3000 product family – Mandatory
- Experience of installation, commissioning, integration and maintenance/fault-finding activity on the Ericsson RBS 6000 product family – Mandatory
- Experience of installation, commissioning, integration and maintenance/fault-finding activity on the Nokia Flexi product family
- Experience of installation, commissioning, integration and maintenance/fault-finding activity on the Huawei RBS 3G product family
- Experience of installation, commissioning, integration and maintenance/fault-finding activity on the Huawei RNC product family
- Experience of installation, commissioning, integration and maintenance/fault-finding activity on the Ericsson RNC product family
- Experience of installation, commissioning, integration and maintenance/fault-finding activity on the P-Com, Nokia, NEC, DMC, Siae, Ericsson Microwave product families
