We're Hiring: Senior Embedded Systems Engineer – Secure Communications
We are looking for a Senior Embedded Systems Engineer to lead system integration, security hardening, and performance optimization for mission-critical Dismounted Soldier Systems (DSS). You will work on Linux/Android-based embedded platforms, ensuring secure, real-time communications while integrating advanced hardware and software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the integration of smart hubs, smartwatches, and embedded devices, ensuring seamless operation.
- Conduct penetration testing, security audits, and vulnerability assessments to enhance Linux/Android OS security.
- Optimize networking protocols (TCP/IP, VLANs, encryption, L2/L3 forwarding) for low-latency, high-throughput communications.
- Develop and execute test plans for system validation, security compliance, and performance benchmarking.
- Stay ahead of emerging trends in cybersecurity, embedded networking, and secure communications.
What You Bring:
- 15+ years of experience in embedded systems, networking, and cybersecurity.
- Strong knowledge of secure boot, encryption, penetration testing, and firmware security.
- Proficiency in C, C++, Java (Android), Linux kernel development.
- Hands-on experience with ARM processors, RTOS, and secure embedded platforms.
- Familiarity with military communication standards and security compliance.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience with penetration testing tools (Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nessus).
- Knowledge of NIST SP 800-53, FIPS 140-2, or Common Criteria.
- CISSP, OSCP, or OSCE certification is a plus.
