Role: Electrical Inspector - Generators And Motors Experience
Duration: Date tbc - 2027
Location: North East
Key Responsibilities:
Project Coordination & Meetings
Lead and participate in regular meetings with the EPC contractor and the Employer.
Issue minutes, track actions, and follow up on decisions and deliverables.
Planning & Progress Monitoring
Assess and report progress against the baseline schedule.
Support replanning as needed and maintain a consolidated construction schedule.
Monitor key milestones and provide updates on deviations, risks, and impacts.
Quality & Compliance
Review contractor submissions, QA/QC plans, and environmental documentation.
Conduct inspections, audits, and supervision to ensure compliance with quality, environmental, and HSE standards.
Maintain NCR registers and assist with third-party audits.
Construction & Commissioning Oversight
Supervise and sign off on installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
Manage snag lists, defect resolution, and close-out documentation.
Maintain inspection and commissioning records.
Commercial & Contractual Support
Review and validate contractor milestone payments.
Assess contractor claims, variations, and issue notices for corrective actions.
Monitor compliance with contract terms and Employer’s Requirements.
Interface & Risk Management
Manage design, construction, and commissioning interfaces.
Maintain and update project and HSSE risk registers.
Monitor for legal, regulatory, or safety-related issues and escalate as required.
Reporting & Documentation
Prepare weekly/monthly progress and compliance reports.
Maintain accurate records, meeting notes, registers, and communication logs.
