Description:
We are seeking a skilled Wind River Cloud Platform DevOps Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and automating the infrastructure for edge deployment that supports edge computing (DU) and 5G technologies. Your expertise will ensure efficient deployment, management, and optimization of physical and virtual resources essential for NFV environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of Wind River Controller and compute deployments for Open RAN (DU) and Core NF’s.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Develop and maintain automation playbooks for continuous deployment processes, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues promptly and effectively.
Required Skills:
Technical Skills:
- Expertise in Wind River Cloud Platform with hands-on experience.
- Proficiency in cloud infrastructure, DevOps practices, and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins).
- Strong grasp of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, particularly in edge computing and 5G environments.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) and Linux systems administration.
- Familiarity with monitoring and performance management tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack.
- Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
Experience:
- Proven track record deploying, managing, and optimizing Wind River Cloud Platform or similar platforms.
- Telecom/5G experience, including NFV and SDN.
- Previous involvement in edge computing environments, ideally with Wind River or equivalent platforms.
- Extensive experience building and scaling CI/CD pipelines.
- Migration experience from VMware to Wind River platforms is a plus.
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or equivalent.
- Linux administration certifications (e.g., RHCSA, RHCE) preferred.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
