We are seeking a Core Engineer specialising in CS Core, PS Core, SIP, VoLTE, and SMS.
Responsibilities
- Support core network elements and troubleshoot network incidents.
- Collaborate on network team projects, from development to monitoring.
- Expand network monitoring capabilities and ensure consistent network uptime.
- Act as a key contact for vendors and other teams.
- Participate in knowledge sharing with team members.
Requirements
- Expertise in 3GPP Network Elements: HLR/HSS, DRA, STP, SMSC, GMSC, IMS Core, PGW, OCS, PCRF, AAA.
- Strong knowledge of telecom protocols and interfaces: GTP (S8), Diameter (S6a, Gx, Gy, Rx, Cx, Sh), MAP, Radius, SMPP, SIP.
- Experience in telecom integrations and network analysis tools like Wireshark; scripting skills are an advantage.
- 5+ years’ experience in telecom support or a degree in Computer/Telecom Engineering.
- Proven troubleshooting and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Willingness to support out-of-hours work as needed.
