About the Company: Our client is looking for a Data Centre business development manager to work in their successful Hong Kong data centres.


You should understand the data center space and have experience selling data centre products to either hyperscalers or CSPs (communication service providers) / telecom carriers.

You will be working on the latest AI and power technology in the data centre and will have the chance at career progression.

About the Role: Data Centre Business Development Manager

Manage and develop Data Centre sales, attracting and maintaining business.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date contractual documentation.
Ensure timely communication of changes to relevant stakeholders.
Collaborate closely with the Marketing department to implement local marketing plans and raise awareness of company in the local market.
Target business intermediaries, including inward investment agencies, Local Authorities, Chambers of Commerce, corporate lawyers, and accountants.
Employ a diverse range of strategies (direct marketing, advertising, cold calling) to expand the customer base.
Understand precise customer needs in coordination with the local management team and foster ongoing relationships.
Work closely with the Data Centre team and Sales & Marketing functions to maximize leads and cross-selling opportunities.
Maintain excellent global communication through regular reports and updates.
Identify and engage major corporate customers and smaller space users using local knowledge and research.
Manage end-to-end sales processes, from initial inquiry to contract negotiation and closure.
Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Relay contractual information to the Operations Manager and relevant departments.
Provide feedback on competitor activity and strategic account management.
Deliver occupancy reports according to company standards.
Champion and drive the vision, leading people through ambiguity and uncertainty.
Demonstrate openness, trust, and respect for others' opinions.
Take full accountability for actions and value individual contributions.
Create a strong sense of belonging and pride within the team, partnering effectively with others.


Requirements:

Hunter personality
Experience selling data centre products to either hyperscalers or CSPs (communication service providers) / telecom carriers.
Experience with new client business development, proven experience obtaining new logos.
