FPG is delighted to have partnered with a rapidly growing Digital Services Provider, supporting them in their search for a Business Development Leader with a strong sales hunter mindset to drive new IT and digital transformation deals in Abu Dhabi's BFS sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead business development and go-to-market (GTM) efforts for the BFS sector in Abu Dhabi.
- Identify, cultivate, and close new business opportunities across banks, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies.
- Engage with C-level executives, IT decision-makers, and other key stakeholders to drive sales.
- Position digital transformation, cloud, AI, and core banking services as solutions to address client pain points.
- Develop and execute account strategies to secure long-term contracts and multi-year deals.
- Manage large-scale deals of $10M+ TCV, with contract durations of 5 years or more.
- Leverage existing banking relationships to open doors to new opportunities.
- Stay current on banking regulations, trends, and the competitive landscape to tailor pitches effectively.
- Collaborate with presales, delivery, and leadership teams to create compelling proposals and solutions.
- Drive the full sales cycle from lead generation through contract negotiation and closing.
- Ensure pipeline growth and meet both quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Consistently exceed sales quotas and maintain forecasting accuracy.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of IT sales experience, with a strong focus on the UAE BFS market.
- Extensive experience in selling digital transformation, core banking, cloud, AI, and analytics solutions to banks.
- Proven ability to hunt, close high-value deals, and exceed sales quotas.
- Degree in Business, IT, Finance, or related fields; MBA preferred.
- Established network with Abu Dhabi banks (e.g., FAB, ADCB, ADIB, Al Hilal, etc.).
- Strong understanding of UAE banking regulations, the fintech ecosystem, and competitive landscape.
- Ability to build relationships and influence C-level executives.
- Self-driven, results-oriented, and capable of thriving in a target-driven environment.
