My client is a leading software engineering consultancy specializing in software and UX/UI solutions. They are currently undergoing an exciting international merger, positioning themselves as a global agency with headquarters in the USA and South Africa. As they expand their brand presence, they are looking for a talented and versatile Brand and Marketing Designer to join the team and help bring their vision to life.
Role Overview:
As a Brand and Marketing Designer, you will play a key role in shaping and maintaining the company's brand identity across multiple platforms. You will work closely with the Brand Manager to create compelling presentations, marketing collateral, and digital content that enhance global positioning. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to translate business needs into visually appealing designs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop visually engaging presentations and slide decks for internal and external stakeholders
- Create marketing and business collateral, including business cards, letterheads, brochures, internal newsletters, and digital assets
- Design high-quality social media content that aligns with the brand identity and messaging
- Produce engaging illustrations and visual assets for marketing campaigns and internal communication
- Ensure consistency in branding across all touchpoints, maintaining high design standards
- Collaborate with various departments to support their design needs
- Stay updated on industry trends to ensure the brand remains innovative and competitive
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in graphic design, marketing design, or a related field
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and presentation tools like PowerPoint and Google Slides
- Strong portfolio showcasing experience in branding, marketing collateral, and social media design
- Ability to translate complex ideas into visually appealing and clear designs
- Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Information Design, Marketing, or a related field
Preferred Experience:
- Experience working in a technology or consulting industry or in an agency setting handling B2B client projects
- Knowledge of video editing is a plus
- Familiarity with UX/UI design principles is advantageous
