Corporate Social Responsibility

Making a positive impact

Our success as a business is judged by more than commercial achievements. Whilst that is the metric by which we can operate as a business, the way we conduct ourselves as unique individuals and collectively as an organisation is how we are judged.

We are committed to creating positive impacts within our local offices and as a wider global business. Our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives reflects this commitment, ensuring that we act as a responsible organisation in every aspect of our operations. Whilst we’re not perfect, we try each day to do the best we can for our colleagues, our clients, our candidates and our local communities.

We understand that our work not only connects people with meaningful careers but also shapes communities, supports economic growth, and promotes social well-being.

Our CSR efforts are a core part of our mission to make a positive difference in the world while continuing to provide exceptional service to our clients and candidates.

Commitments to:

  1. Our Communities
  2. Our Staff
  3. Our Environment
  4. Measuring our progress

1. Our Communities

We have various communities / charities that we support across our teams. See the examples below. In addition to this, we have also supported youth development by taking a number of apprenticeships in our organisation.

Our London office donate food to a local charity called Soup Kitchen who plays a vital role in supporting the homeless, elderly, isolated and vulnerable people of London. More information about Soup Kitchen can be found here.

Our teams across the globe participate in the annual Movember event which involves growing a moustaches during the month of November to raise awareness of Men's Health issues, such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and men's suicide. More information on Movember can be found here.

2. Staff Development

Our staffs individuality is welcomed, it's what makes us unique. Whether you’re starting out on your career journey or already a seasoned professional we will support you in:

We know life has its up’s and down’s. Your health and well-being really is important to us and a big part of your career journey at First Point Group. With a Qualified Mental Health First Aider available to all employees and regular one-to-one welfare meetings as part of your onboarding programme (and beyond, should you want it), we are equipped to support you as best we can in this exciting journey. You'll be offered a one month 'sabbatical break' after 3 continued years of service to spend time on the most important thing...you.

We understand the importance of personal development and ensuring employees have the support and tools to do the job to the best of their ability. We want to empower you from day one.

Our hybrid approach incorporates both internal & external training with subject matter experts, and continual learning to ensure your skills are kept relevant and up-to-date. Employees across the globe also have access to a series of comprehensive training programs, all hosted via our online training centre.

“Practice makes perfect”

Our training philosophy centers around three simple words “why, try, revise”. This process and approach a mixture of classroom and at-the-desk training ensure content keeps fresh in the learner's mindset and avoids content landing on the “learning scrap heap”. This also enables you to grow in confidence by putting into practice the key skills of the role, all carried out under the guidance and support of your designated work buddy or Manager.  Our training is a constant narrative that reflects how quickly the Recruitment industry operates, this also plays well for the one-to-one coaching which covers a multitude of areas focussed around individuals' desire to improve their “soft skills” should they wish.

We like to think we are real, no one is ever the finished article and our belief is enhancing your skillset with skills you can use at First Point Group or take within your role, should you decide to leave us
